This is the first time, “The Sacred Path of Love” conference is being held in Malaysia. For many years, the conference and retreat have helped many young people in Singapore to reconnect to themselves, and to their faiths. This has led them to become empowered and contributing individuals to themselves, families, and communities.
This conference is intended to highlight to attendees the different pursuits of happiness and a roadmap on how they can achieve happiness & contentment in their life. This event also brings people together from different walks of life, age, profession, and education; creating a community, asserting that “you are not alone.”
Our invited scholars will discuss, deliberate, define, guide the ways one can traverse the sacred path of love, in achieving the highest of goals. Included with the illuminating talks from the scholars are performances from Malaysian local artist, Altimet and American spoken-word artist, Baraka Blue.
Come-as-you-are. We’re all on this pursuit. We’re all broken in one way or another. Come, come, come and join this caravan.

WHAT OUR PARTICIPANTS SAY
“Friendship, brotherhood, moral support!”
I would say Sout Ilaahi is one of our favourite places to come together to seek knowledge and listen to the pearls of wisdom from the scholars. You don’t just teach people and expect them to grow on their own.
I was an angry boy when I was growing up. I had many juvenile cases as I came from a broken family. My step father often abused me, and my mom was only keen on drugs. I was left alone beside my grandmother. She took care of me. I didn’t know about Islam or anything related to the religion. I often asked my grandmother, would there be anyone who could help to teach me mengaji? She always said sabr.
Returning God From Vice
In 2012, I attended the Sacred path of love. Before attending the event, I was worried if I am able to overcome my anxiety. I did not live like everyone else. I was pretty looked down upon because of my vice activity in the past. Yes I was an ex prostitute whom wanted to change back 3 years ago which Allah had guided me to do so.
What our scholars say
The lens by which you look at the world is up to you. Two people can be in the exact same situation but have 2 different perspectives on it. You can’t decide what stress and anxiety you will encounter in your life, but you can decide how to react.
If you live the Quran, You Read It, You Understand It, You Practice It,The Quran will be your companion, In both time of ease, and time of Difficulty
